Check your soil – what type of soil do you have? If you understand your soil, it will become easier to choose the perfect plant as well as aspect. Is the area you are looking to plant your new plants in full sun, partial shade, exposed or windy. These are all things to consider for your new plants and ultimately give it the best chance of successful establishment. Choose a plant that is right for the area you wish to plant in. If in any doubt, speak to any member of our staff. Our staff are all highly trained with extensive experience in all things plants. Make sure your plant is well watered by soaking your plant before and after planting. Dig a hole that is double the size of the base of your plant. Position the root ball in the hole, making sure it is steady and stands well. Backfill adding a good handful of general fertiliser or organic matter, firm in well and remove any compaction from around the plant base.
